Welcome to EPDEL, an educational technology and online learning platform operated by KERNOI AI Innovations LLP, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EPDEL website, applications, courses, learning materials, interactive tools, assessments, projects, certificates, training programs and related services, collectively referred to as the “Platform” or “Services”.
In these Terms, “EPDEL”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to KERNOI AI Innovations LLP. “Learner”, “user”, “you” and “your” refer to any person who accesses, registers with, purchases from or uses EPDEL.
By creating an account, enrolling in a course or program, making a payment, accessing paid learning content or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Platform or purchase EPDEL Services.
1. About EPDEL
EPDEL provides educational and learning services that may include online courses, instructor-led learning programs, recorded lessons, interactive learning experiences, coding and technical laboratories, assessments, quizzes, projects, assignments, learning resources, documents, training programs, internship-related learning programs, certification programs, mentoring and learner support.
EPDEL may also introduce additional educational services from time to time as the Platform develops.
The exact features, duration, curriculum, access period, eligibility requirements, fees and completion requirements may vary between courses and programs.
Course-specific information displayed on the applicable enrollment page forms part of the terms applicable to that course.
2. Eligibility
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an EPDEL account or enrolling in a program. Where age restrictions apply to a particular service, you must satisfy those requirements.
If a learner is below the age required to independently provide legally valid consent under applicable law, registration, enrollment, payment and processing of personal information may require consent or involvement from a parent or lawful guardian.
EPDEL may request reasonable information necessary to verify eligibility where required.
3. Learner Accounts
Certain EPDEL Services may require you to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, keeping your information reasonably up to date and maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Your account should not be shared with another person. You should notify EPDEL if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account and, except where otherwise provided by applicable law, you are responsible for activities carried out through your account.
An EPDEL account is intended for the registered learner unless explicitly stated otherwise. You must not sell, transfer, rent, share or commercially provide access to your account.
4. Enrollment and Course Access
Enrollment in a paid course or program is normally confirmed after successful payment and verification of the transaction. Course access begins according to the enrollment information displayed for the applicable program.
The duration of access may vary between courses. The applicable enrollment page may specify start and end dates, duration of access, live session schedules, recorded-content availability, assessment deadlines, project submission dates and certificate requirements.
Unless EPDEL expressly describes access as permanent, indefinite or lifetime access, purchasing a course should not be interpreted as granting permanent access.
EPDEL may reasonably restrict access after the stated course-access period expires.
5. Fees, Payments and Taxes
Course and program fees will be displayed on the Platform before payment. The amount payable may include course fees, applicable taxes, discounts, promotional offers, scholarships, coupon discounts and other charges clearly disclosed before payment.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers. Enrollment is subject to successful payment authorization and confirmation.
EPDEL may receive payment-related information necessary to confirm, reconcile, refund or investigate a transaction.
If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed or cannot be verified, EPDEL may temporarily delay or restrict course access until the matter is resolved.
If an amount is deducted from your payment method but enrollment is not successfully completed, you should contact EPDEL support with the relevant transaction information.
6. Discounts, Coupons and Promotional Offers
EPDEL may provide discounts, scholarships, coupons, promotional prices or other offers. Unless specifically stated otherwise, offers cannot be exchanged for cash, may be subject to eligibility requirements, may expire and may be limited to specific courses, users, dates or payment methods.
Multiple offers may not necessarily be combined. EPDEL may withdraw or correct a promotion affected by technical error, fraud, misuse or an obvious pricing mistake, subject to applicable consumer law.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds, cancellations, duplicate payments, failed transactions and related requests are governed by EPDEL’s separate Refund & Cancellation Policy applicable at the time of purchase.
Learners should review that policy before completing payment. Where a course-specific enrollment page contains additional refund conditions, those conditions should be read together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
8. Course Content and Program Changes
EPDEL works to keep its courses accurate, relevant and educationally useful. Because technology, software, academic material, instructors, schedules and industry practices may change, EPDEL may reasonably update course modules, lessons, exercises, projects, assessments, software tools, instructors, session schedules and learning resources.
EPDEL will not intentionally make a material change that fundamentally removes the principal educational service purchased by a learner without taking reasonable steps to address the effect on affected learners.
9. Educational Purpose
EPDEL's courses, materials, projects and assessments are provided primarily for educational and skill-development purposes.
EPDEL does not represent that every course is suitable for every individual learner. Learners remain responsible for evaluating whether a course satisfies their academic, professional, technical or career requirements.
10. No Employment or Professional Outcome Guarantee
Completion of an EPDEL course or program does not, by itself, guarantee employment, internship placement, promotion, admission to an educational institution, examination results, professional licensing, salary level, business income or any particular career outcome.
Any career assistance, interview preparation, internship exposure, employer interaction or placement-related support specifically offered with a program will be governed by the description of that particular program.
General career-support language should not be interpreted as a guarantee of employment unless EPDEL expressly provides a separate written guarantee.
11. Assessments and Academic Integrity
EPDEL may use quizzes, assignments, examinations, projects, practical exercises, interviews, demonstrations or other methods to evaluate learner progress.
Learners must complete assessments according to the instructions applicable to the course. Impersonating another learner, having another person complete an assessment, manipulating assessment systems, obtaining or distributing unauthorized answers, misrepresenting another person's work as your own, circumventing assessment restrictions or engaging in other forms of academic dishonesty is prohibited.
Use of artificial intelligence tools in assignments or assessments may be permitted, restricted or prohibited depending on course-specific instructions. Where an assessment evaluates independent reasoning, coding, writing or problem solving, learners must comply with the applicable AI-use requirements.
12. Certificates
EPDEL may issue a completion certificate when a learner satisfies the requirements specified for the relevant course or program. Requirements may include completion of lessons, attendance, assessment performance, project submission, practical work, identity verification or other course-specific requirements.
A certificate confirms completion according to EPDEL’s applicable requirements. It does not automatically constitute an academic degree, government qualification, professional licence or guarantee of recognition by a particular employer or institution unless expressly stated.
EPDEL may refuse, suspend, correct or revoke a certificate where it reasonably determines that the certificate was issued because of fraud, impersonation, cheating, administrative error or violation of applicable completion requirements.
13. EPDEL Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, EPDEL or its licensors retain all applicable rights in materials made available through the Platform. These materials include course videos, written lessons, notes, PDFs, questions, assessments, assignments, graphics, illustrations, animations, interactive learning tools, source materials created by EPDEL, software, website interfaces, Platform design, course structure, logos, trademarks, branding and other original educational materials.
Enrollment grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the relevant learning materials for your own educational purposes during the permitted access period.
Enrollment does not transfer ownership of EPDEL intellectual property to you.
14. Prohibited Use of Course Materials
Unless EPDEL provides prior written permission, learners may not reproduce, redistribute, resell or publicly publish paid course materials. Learners may not upload paid videos or materials to another platform, sell or distribute EPDEL PDFs, share paid course links or login credentials, record paid sessions for redistribution, create unauthorized commercial copies, scrape or systematically download Platform content, circumvent access controls or commercially exploit EPDEL content.
Reasonable personal notes created by a learner during the learning process are not restricted by this section.
15. Learner Projects and Submissions
Learners generally retain ownership of original intellectual property independently created by them in assignments, code, projects, reports or other submissions.
Submitting work to EPDEL does not automatically transfer ownership of that work to EPDEL.
However, you grant EPDEL a limited right to access, store, reproduce and review your submission to the extent reasonably required to deliver the course, evaluate your work, provide feedback, detect academic misconduct, maintain academic records or provide technical support.
EPDEL will obtain separate permission before publicly using an identifiable learner project for marketing, promotional, showcase or testimonial purposes unless such use was clearly agreed as part of a separate program arrangement.
Different ownership rules may apply where a learner participates in an internship, employment project, sponsored project, research collaboration, client project or other arrangement governed by a separate written agreement.
16. Acceptable Use
EPDEL must not be used to violate applicable law, commit fraud, harass or threaten another person, upload malicious software, introduce viruses or harmful code, attempt unauthorized access, probe or exploit Platform vulnerabilities without authorization, interfere with Platform operation, circumvent security mechanisms, abuse APIs, scrape restricted content, manipulate payments or assessments, infringe intellectual property rights or use EPDEL resources for unlawful activity.
Security researchers wishing to report a vulnerability should contact EPDEL instead of exploiting or publicly disclosing the vulnerability in a manner that could harm users or the Platform.
17. Third-Party Services
EPDEL may use third-party services to provide parts of the Platform. These may include payment processing, hosting, databases, email services, authentication, video delivery, analytics, communications, cloud infrastructure and other technology functions.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
EPDEL is not responsible for services independently provided by third parties outside EPDEL's reasonable control, subject to obligations imposed on EPDEL under applicable law.
18. External Links
EPDEL may contain links to websites, documentation, software, research, videos, tools or resources operated by third parties. A link does not necessarily mean that EPDEL endorses or controls the third-party service.
Users should review the terms and privacy practices of external services before using them.
19. Platform Availability
EPDEL aims to provide reliable access to its Services, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, security measures, infrastructure failures, internet or network problems, payment-provider disruptions, cloud-service outages, events beyond EPDEL's reasonable control or other technical issues.
EPDEL may temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect learners, Platform security, data, infrastructure or service integrity.
20. Suspension and Termination
EPDEL may suspend or restrict an account where it reasonably believes that account sharing, fraudulent payment activity, content piracy, serious academic misconduct, security abuse, unauthorized access, misuse of Platform resources, intellectual property violations, illegal activity or another material breach of these Terms has occurred.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, EPDEL may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue before permanent termination.
Immediate restriction may be used where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or protection of other users.
Any refund following suspension or termination will be determined according to applicable law, these Terms and EPDEL's Refund & Cancellation Policy.
21. Privacy
EPDEL processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
By using EPDEL, you acknowledge that you have been provided an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains the types of data EPDEL processes, why the information is used, how it may be shared and how learners can exercise applicable privacy rights.
22. Disclaimers
EPDEL makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate, useful and current educational content. Educational materials may, however, contain errors, become outdated or require revision.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, EPDEL does not guarantee that every feature will always operate without interruption, every course will meet every learner's personal objective, every third-party tool will remain available, learning materials will always be free from errors or completion of a program will result in a particular professional outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes obligations or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EPDEL and KERNOI AI Innovations LLP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising solely from circumstances outside their reasonable control.
Any limitation of liability in these Terms is subject to rights and remedies that consumers are entitled to under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
24. Changes to the Platform
EPDEL may introduce, modify, replace or discontinue Platform features as its educational offerings and technology evolve.
Where a change materially affects a learner's already-purchased service, EPDEL will take reasonable steps to communicate or address that change.
25. Changes to These Terms
EPDEL may update these Terms to reflect new services, legal requirements, regulatory developments, security requirements, business changes or Platform improvements.
The current version will display its effective date and version number. Where a material change significantly affects existing learners, EPDEL may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Continued use of EPDEL after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
26. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right to approach a consumer commission, regulatory authority, court or other forum available under applicable law.
For disputes for which the parties may validly choose territorial jurisdiction, the competent courts at Hyderabad, Telangana may have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory statutory rights and jurisdiction rules applicable to the learner.
Before initiating formal proceedings, learners are encouraged to contact EPDEL so that the matter can first be considered through the Platform's grievance or support process.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum extent legally permitted or severed where necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
28. No Waiver
If EPDEL does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily mean EPDEL has waived the right to enforce that provision later.
